O’Neill of Clonoe Ltd was appointed to deliver a new Land Rover dealership facility for Donnelly Group, involving the construction and completion of a purpose-built automotive development incorporating a modern showroom, workshops and valet facilities.
The new dealership was constructed using a steel portal frame structure with insulated cladding and roofing, providing a robust, energy-efficient and contemporary building suitable for the demands of a busy automotive environment. The development also included a reinforced concrete floor and the installation of the required mechanical and electrical services and other specialist systems necessary to support the operation of the dealership.
A key aspect of the project was the delivery of the Land Rover brand-specific elements, including specialist branding, fittings and furnishings. These elements were incorporated into the building to create a professional showroom environment that reflected the identity and standards expected of a premium automotive manufacturer.
The external works formed an important part of the overall development and included site preparation, drainage and associated infrastructure, ensuring the new dealership was fully integrated into its surrounding site. Careful coordination was required throughout the project to bring together the structural, building services, specialist automotive and external works.
